they say that most accidents...

happen within the home.

Due August 23rd

I could write a novel about how i have felt physically, how i feel emotionally, how we found out, how much this explains, how freaked out i am--and maybe i will later. but for now i just need to get the news out there. I'm 14 weeks now, and fighting getting out my maternity clothes that i swear i JUST BARELY put away!!!! I've gone from scared, to mad, to depressed, to happy--which is where i am now, finally.

The thing is, I had this plan. It was the 4 year plan. 4 years between Abby and the next baby. Well, God laughed at my plan... :)

oh, and reid and i DO intend to enroll in the local 7th grade health class. We're missing something....obviously.

Wow! You must be on one roller coaster of emotions right now! If anyone was up for the challenge it would be you! When your kids get older it will be awesome to have them so close together! For now it's hard to see hardly any of the positive!

I heard you guys were coming to D.C.?

Wahooo! Oh my goodness! Congratulations! I can't even imagine how you're feeling. I hate it when God laughs at our plans. I'm happy you've gotten happy about it and certainly all the feelings you felt along the way are so understandable. Congratulations, again! You'll do great!

I was scrolling down to leave you a comment and noticed that you just happened to go from your newlywed post to your new baby post... just thought it was a funny connection that maybe they'll help you figure out in your health class! :) You're hilarious and this post was great. Congratulations on your little miracle. Maybe you'll get a boy. A stubborn boy who knows what he wants and when he wants it (and maybe what he wants isn't to be 4 years behind!!) Miss you!

Ahhh, 7th grade health class...ya, that'll teach you everything you need to know. There's actually this thing called the "pill" - remind me to tell you about it sometime! You know I"m totally kidding. I'm so happy for you (and happy that you're happy now!) :)
Love you babe!

Congratulations! I myself am a "pill" baby. I turned out okay, and I think I bring my parents more joy and happiness than any of my other siblings. :) I agree with Emily that your this post coupled with your last one is pretty hysterical! Good luck!

Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you. I know exactly how you feel. That happened to me to. The Lord suprises us and sends them when they need to. I am so happy for you. Keep us posted.
Is there anything I can do for the mission reunion coming up?

Hey guys. I found your post on Brady's blog. I hope you don't mind. I am going to add you to our list to keep in touch. But first, Congratulations! You two are great parents and this little one is lucky to not have to wait for 4 years to make its debut. Enjoy the roller coaster!

I guess that I need to read peoples blogs more often. I am just too busy to be on this computer all day(because I can't get off of it once I get on). Anyway I totally understand how you must be feeling, although yours will be a few months closer than mine. I'm freakin out! The baby is going to be fine, if anyone wants my other two they are up for grabs. I be your girls are excited. You and REID need to stop acting like newlyweds and maybe these kinds of accidents won't happen. Did you ever think of that one? Congrats and good luck with everything! Miss you guys!

I know exactly how you feel. I got pregnant while on the pill 4 months before Braden was to turn One. They would have been less than 18 mo. apart. But even though I had been feeling upset and scared about the whole thing at the beginning, when I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks it was horrible. It's never a good time to loose your baby. Count your blessings that you have a healthy baby so far. The ultrasound picture looks great! Everything happens for a reason, and I'm sure that your family will enjoy this new little one!

NO MORE HANDHOLDING! There, no need for the health class now...

Congratulations, I'm so sorry to hear your great news!!! (I tried tell you what you want to hear...) You guys appear to be doing great and I'm excited for your successes. See you this weekend!

HUGE congrats !! Hope you are feeling better soon now that the initial shock has worn off. Sounds like Reid Jr. was just too anxious to get here.

Three kids is a handful! I did the four year plan and it was a really long time to wait, if anyone can do kids that close together it's you, you're amazing! I am tired for you and excited for you!
