my latest creation

these dresses took way longer to make than i'd planned...but i was pretty pleased with how they turned out. i was up until 2:30 last saturday night making them. i just really wanted them to be ready for church the next day! so, although it meant us being late, and me being ornery all day...the dresses were a hit :)

Way to go Emily !! Those dresses are beautiful. I wish I had your gift of sewing. I can barely sew a pillowcase.

Those dresses are adorable! Having two little girls is THE BEST!!!! Do you take orders? Totally worth every moment it took you to make them.

Emily,
Good job on the dresses! They are so cute. I wish I were that talented. I have a sewing machine but I have never used it. You are all so adorable. I can't believe how grown up your girls are. Love ya lots

Way cute! Totally something I would do (staying up till 2:30) Sometimes it feels so good to finally finish a project! Great Job...

You are amazing....these are so gorgeous and look like dresses you'd buy from janie and jack or similar fancy and expensive stores. Plus how do you sew with two little ones getting into everything...well I guess that's probably why you were up till 2:30, huh :)

Cute dresses! We just re-discovered your blog. What fun to see baby Grace all grown up! We hope you have fun with the Cambridge folks--wish we could be there! (The Shulls)

Working on projects after midnight is so much cooler than the day. My favorite is when the hum of the sewing machine mixes with the electricity of the colors, making you feel like you are going in and out of a cartoon world...

WHAT AM I SAYING?!Too many late night projects trips, i guess.
